Nuts are an excellent source of nutrition which contain healthy fatty acids, protein, fibre, antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals. 

Nuts can be added almost everywhere, including:

  • breakfast cereals
  • salads
  • cake or pie crusts
  • confectionary
  • eaten as-is by hand

Recent Norwegian nutritional guidelines suggest consuming one handful of nuts per day for omnivores and vegetarians alike. Long gone are the days where nuts only come out at Christmastime; hazelnuts, walnuts, brazilian and other nuts, are now recommended at all times of the year!
