
Pine nuts are soft and make delicious, creamy patés.
Ingredients Yields, one small bowl
1 1/4 cups pine nuts (150g), soaked 4 hours
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons fresh dill
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation
Pour the water off of the pine nuts, rinse and dry the nuts and grind them in a coffee grinder.
Place the nut meal, dill, lemon juice and garlic in a blender.
Add some water (just enough to blend the nuts) and blend until it is a creamy and
smooth paté. Then, add the fresh dill and pulse briefly.
Serving Suggestions
The tasty paté is delicious on crispy wholegrain bread and as a dip for vegetables.
