About me

My name is Elisabeth Gard. I have been a vegetarian since I was young. My deep love for animals gradually led me to become a vegan and today, I flourish on organic plant food. I have a Bachelor´s Degree in Nutrition and I am a certified Raw Food Chef and Instructor from Living Light Culinary Institute in California.

At the moment, I am living in a beautiful hillside in Norway, surrounded by nature. I love skiing and being outdoors. During the wintertime, I work as a ski-instructor for children - a wonderfully inspiring and refreshing adventure :-)

My wish with Butterfly Nutrition is to share the joy of eating raw food and show that we all can live beautifully, and even flourish, on a diverse variety of plant foods. A lifestyle of eating plant food has such a positive impact on our bodies and spirit, so making this website came naturally.

I will gladly share some of my skills with you, together with my own daily experiences living on plant food and you will see how the advantages are plentiful. Living on organic vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts & seeds, and fresh fruits & berries makes you happy!
