Salads

With all their bright colours, salads look beautiful and taste delicious. Full of precious vitamins and minerals they also make your body happy. The more colours you gently toss together, the healthier the salad will be. And salads are fun and easy to make. Here are two variations:

Summer Salad

Cherry tomatoes

Sugar peas

Fresh corn kernels

Iceberg lettuce

Olive oil

On warm summer days, it tastes wonderful to have a light salad when you are at the beach or sitting on your terrace and enjoying the sun. Just wash the vegetables, toss them together in a bowl and sprinkle a few drops of olive oil over the vegetables. The salad can be eaten as it is or with your favourite dip.

During wintertime, we need more nutritious food that warms and satisfies us. Legumes like lentils and beans are suited wonderfully in a salad for lunch. The protein-rich legumes add both fullness and flavour to the meal.

Winter Salad

Chinese cabbage

Shredded carrots

Lentils or beans (sprouted or cooked)

Hazelnuts

The salad taste great with an almond or nut cheese roll.
