Raw and Living Food

The term Raw Food usually encompasses uncooked plant foods like fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and sprouted grains and legumes. You may also notice that the term Living Foods is often used interchangeable with raw food, since both foods are unprocessed with their life force still intact. Living foods, however, more specifically apply to foods that have sprouts and that could grow with soil and the right conditions (e.g. foods like sprouts, grain and legume sprouts, seeds and more). As well, foods with live, healthy bacteria, like miso or rejuvilac, are often considered “living” foods.
