Tomato and Bell Pepper Sauce

This sauce tastes delicious with fresh, raw vegetables :-)

Ingredients, dip

3 cups red bell pepper (or 2 large)

1 ½ cups tomatoes (or 3 large)

1 cup cashews

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 ½ tablespoons tamari

1 teaspoon salt


Carrots, kohlrabi, small broccoli and cauliflower florets, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, celery and more vegetables of your choosing.

Dip Preparation 

Chop the tomatoes and bell pepper.

Put all the ingredients for the sauce into the blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

Serving Suggestions

The sauce tastes delicious served with fresh vegetables or over spiralized 

zucchini and/or carrot noodles :-)

*In gourmet cuisine, the tomato seeds are removed to prevent too much 

water in the tomato sauce. Since the water in this sauce is so little, you can 

just chop the tomatoes as they are.
