Refusing Dinner

If your child does not want to eat the dinner one day, just set it aside and wait until the evening - or until the child gets hungry and asks for food. Children can easily manage without food a couple of hours. But always give them something to eat when they get hungry. If they still do not want the dinner, give them a carrot or another vegetable. Let them follow their intuition; let them eat when they are hungry and rest when they are full. As a parent, it is normal to worry if a child refuses a supper but, be rest assured that children can intuitively balance their needed food intake by eating less or more some days than others. In total, they usually get excatly what their bodies needs to grow and transform into healthy, vibrant adults.
