Milkshake

Ingredients                                          Yield, 2 glasses

3 cups almond milk (unsweetened)

3-4 tablespoons agave nectar

vanilla extract or seeds from one bean (optional)


banana and/or strawberries

Preparation

Blend all the ingredients in a blender.

Add some banana or any of your favourite fruit or berries while blending.

Blend until smooth and pour the milkshake into 2 chilled glasses.

Serving Suggestions

Garnish the milkshakes with berries on top and serve with a straw in each glass! 

*Milkshakes can be made with all kinds of berries. Strawberries give off the delicious taste of summer, as do raspberries and blueberries. Currants also taste great! Frozen berries are just as good as fresh - just choose the berry you most enjoy and see how the colour changes with the different coloured fruit. Just experiment and have fun!


*To thicken the milkshake, add some bananas or more frozen fruit or berries.

*To have a glass of fresh milkshake ready to enjoy, just freeze some almond milk 

  in the freezer in ice cube trays.
