Orange Sorbet

This is a fresh and delicate dessert that tastes beautiful on warm summer days :-)

Ingredients

2.5 cups fresh (newly pressed) orange or pineapple juice

1/4 cup light agave syrup (optional)

Goji berries

Small ice cube trays

Preparation

The day before, juice the oranges and pineapples and gently pour the fresh juice into small ice cube trays. Place in the freezer.

Before serving:

Bring the ice cubes to the kitchen sink and let them melt a short while (to protect your blender). When softer, put the ice cubes in the blender and pulse briefly, for just a few seconds. Divide the sorbet in beautiful dessert dishes or parfait glasses and top with berries.

Serving Suggestions

Orange and pineapple sorbet is best served fresh and cool :-)

*This sorbet can be topped with all kinds of fruit and berries, like raspberries, blueberries, bits of chocolate and/or goji berries.

**The ice cubes made in smaller ice cube trays are thinner and melt easier than the big ice cubes and are therefore gentler to the blender. You can find many fun and interesting ice cube trays made with silicone in your local kitchen shop.
