Green Smoothie

If you want, you can supplement your diet with nutritious supplements like green powder, which consists of sprouted wheat grass, spirulina and chlorella. You can add the powder in your smoothie or in a glass of plant milk, juice or water.

The first time I heard about spirulina was in Australia many years ago. Now green powder is also available in Scandinavia and many other parts of the world. Spirulina and chlorella are both made from algea. The supplement contains much valuable nutrition in the form of trace elements, vitamins and minerals. Chlorella contains all the B-vitamins (except active B12), calcium, protein and other vitamins and minerals. It is an excellent supplement for vegans.
