The best diet for excellent health is a vegetarian one and, more specifically, pure vegan. Here are some of the elements that are part of a nutritious and healthy menu:

*Fruits and vegetables

*Organically grown food

*Whole grain foods and fibre-rich foods

*Foods with high content of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants

*Sufficient complete proteins from plant sources

*Omega-3 essential fatty acids from plants, seeds and nuts

*Chlorophyll rich vegetables (green vegetables)

*High proportion of alkaline vegetables

*And vegetable juices

For those who want to take it a step further and eat the best you can possibly eat: 

*A large percentage (between 50-80% or even more) of raw food in your diet.

In addition, a daily supplement of B12, a multivitamin/mineral tablet, and DHA supplementation (omega-3) is recommended.

Our diet is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle, but not all. In order to have a fulfilling life and excellent health, we also need daily exercise and time outdoors in the sun to get fresh air.
