Colourful Smoothies

Fruit smoothies are both refreshing and delicious. The picture on the right side shows a smoothie made with banana, strawberry and kiwi. As you can see, you can adjust the colours of the smoothie as you wish by playing around with different coloured fruit and vegetables.

An excellent base for many smoothies is banana. Fresh strawberries, when bursting with flavour at the peak of the season, also taste delicious, as do raspberries and blueberries. Mango always makes a gorgeous smoothie base and, like pineapple and kiwi, gives a beautiful tropical feel to the drink (especially when drinking ice-cold with a straw and some berries on top in the summer :-)

For a thicker smoothie that can be eaten with a spoon, just decrease the amount of plant milk in the drink. Frozen fruit also makes smoothies thick and creamy. This delicious drink is wonderfully suited to every happy occasion. The beautiful colours and fresh taste will quickly lift our spirits and infuse our body with positive energy – and it is a most perfect and easy way to add more fruit and vegetables into our daily menu. Just play around and have fun with different kinds of fruit and berries to see how the colour and taste changes.
